The NAT4DD consortium is pleased to welcome the international accreditation panel to the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens for the programme’s accreditation site visit. This important milestone represents a key step in the establishment of NAT4DD as a high-quality European Joint Master’s Programme dedicated to advancing education and research in drug development, from natural products to pharmaceutical formulations and applications.

During the visit, the expert panel will engage with university leadership, academic staff, administrative personnel, external stakeholders, and representatives of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. The programme team will present the academic vision, curriculum design, governance structure, mobility pathway, quality assurance framework, and student support services that underpin the NAT4DD educational experience.

The site visit will also showcase the programme’s strong international dimension, bringing together the expertise of three leading European universities and highlighting the collaborative approach that characterises NAT4DD. Particular emphasis will be placed on the programme’s interdisciplinary curriculum, research-driven teaching, integration with industry and healthcare stakeholders, and commitment to preparing graduates for careers in pharmaceutical sciences, drug discovery, and innovation.

The accreditation process provides an opportunity for constructive dialogue with the evaluation panel and reflects the consortium’s continuous commitment to academic excellence, transparency, internationalisation, and the highest standards of quality in higher education.
