ASSOCIATE PARTNERS

Extending the NAT4DD Academic and Scientific Network

Beyond the three degree-awarding universities, NAT4DD is supported by a wider network of Associate Partners, bringing additional academic, scientific and professional expertise to the programme.

Associate Partners complement the expertise of the NAT4DD Consortium and contribute to the programme through specialised teaching and seminars, knowledge exchange, and interaction with students and academic staff. Their involvement broadens the educational experience offered by NAT4DD and exposes students to different scientific perspectives, research environments and approaches across the drug-development pathway.

Through this extended network, NAT4DD strengthens its international and interdisciplinary dimension, connecting the core curriculum with complementary expertise in areas ranging from natural products and ethnopharmacology to analytical sciences, pharmaceutical formulation and drug development.

A particularly important component of this network is the collaboration with the programme’s African Partner Universities, whose academic contribution brings together European and African expertise and provides students with valuable perspectives on biodiversity, traditional knowledge, natural-product research and pharmaceutical development.
